Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 23, 2026
We keep this simple, because our use of cookies is simple. AuditBadger uses only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work, plus privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies at all. We do not run advertising pixels or cross-site trackers.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They can be “essential” (needed for the site to function) or “non-essential” (used for things like advertising or tracking). We use essential cookies only.
2. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _landing_session | Maintains your session and protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax. | Essential | Session |
| theme | Remembers your light or dark appearance preference. | Essential | 1 year |
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested, they do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.
3. Analytics without cookies
We measure website traffic with Plausible Analytics, which is designed to be privacy-friendly. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites. It only gives us aggregate, anonymous figures such as page views and referrers so we can understand what is useful.
4. Third-party content
A few pages load content from third parties that may set their own cookies once you interact with them — for example, the Cal.com scheduler when you book a demo. We also load our typefaces from Google Fonts. These are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Because we only use essential cookies, blocking them may stop parts of the website from working as intended, but it will not expose you to advertising tracking, because we do not do any.
