Why us

Compliance software built for the company you actually are

Most compliance tools are priced and designed for a company with a compliance function. If you have between 5 and 50 people, that describes almost none of the tools you have been quoted this month. Here is the case for us, including the parts where we are the wrong answer.

$250/month flat. Unlimited users. Both frameworks. Self-serve, so you can start without talking to anyone.

01 / The problem

Nobody tells you when it ends

The hard part of a first audit is not the work. It is that 93 controls arrive at once, in no order, with no sense of which ones matter, and nobody can tell you whether you are two weeks out or two quarters. You end up doing compliance in the gaps between shipping, which is exactly when it is most expensive.

We know this because we did it in 2019, badly, on spreadsheets, and wasted a fortnight on the wrong controls before anyone noticed. AuditBadger is that experience turned into an ordered list.

02 / The case

Five reasons small companies pick us

01

One price, and you can see it

$250 a month, flat. Not per seat, not per framework, not per integration, and not a number you get after two calls and a discovery form. Your 40th employee costs the same as your 4th. Enterprise tools quote from roughly $7,500 a year and climb from there, priced for a buyer with a procurement process.

02

We ran the audit ourselves

AuditBadger has completed a SOC 2® Type II examination, and we did it inside AuditBadger with no external consultants. Every place the product failed us became a product change. That is a slower roadmap than a funded competitor's, and a more honest one.

03

An order of operations, not a wall of controls

Quick Wins ranks the highest-impact things to do first and turns work you have already done, published policies, completed training, vendor reviews, into evidence. It will not do the work for you. Nothing does. But nothing you have already done goes to waste either.

04

The whole program, not just the checklist

Risk register, vendor assessments, incident management, business continuity, asset management, security training and a Trust Center are all included. Small teams cannot afford four tools and the integrations between them, so this is one tool at one price.

05

You get the founders, not a success rep

Onboarding is run by the people who built it, and every account has a shared Slack channel with us. Ask the questions you would rather not ask in front of an auditor. That is most of compliance.

03 / The honest part

When you should pick something else

Naming this is cheaper for both of us than finding out in month three.

  • You need continuous or real-time monitoring. Our scheduled checks run once a month, plus on demand. More often is a conversation, not a setting.
  • You need fourth-party risk visibility. We do not have it.
  • You need FedRAMP, HITRUST, or a long tail of specialist frameworks. We do SOC 2 and ISO 27001, in both the 2013 and 2022 editions, and that is it.
  • You need 400+ integrations into an existing enterprise stack. We have 12, chosen for what small teams actually run.
  • You need automated data retention policies or virus scanning for attachments. Neither exists today.
  • You have a compliance department and a procurement process built around per-seat licensing. You will be happier with a tool designed for that.
04 / Compare

Do the math against your shortlist

We would rather you compared us properly than took our word for it. Each page concedes what the other product does better.
